Our team did research for 10 months to understand a product and create new value. We met lots of professional users and director in Hollywood, Beijing, Qingdao, Tokyo, Berlin such as Claudia Miranda and Gareth Edwards, director for Star Wars. And give them our prototype and test and monitor how they actually use. We record all the material they comment and try our best to develop and optimize it.

Full Monocoque Cabon Fiber Frame Design

A monocoque carbon fiber frame design enables Ronin 2 to perform well in extreme weather conditions with high torque motors that allows it to support a wider range of cameras. Light and durable, it is reliable in the most testing scenarios.

Entirely Redesigned

Ronin 2 is entirely redesigned and re-organized. I also participate to design the layout of main components and also two swap-able batteries that is moved to outside of gimbal system to get more balanced and efficient torque and power. With up to eight times more powerful motors than previous iterations, Ronin 2 can withstand sustained speeds of over 75 mph with camera builds as heavy as 30 lbs.

Versatility

A newly designed detachable grip allows Ronin 2 to stand up on its own and is easily separated when the lower part of the hand grip is not needed. Ronin 2 is also highly compatible with cable cams, drones, cranes, Steadicams and more.
